 ing signing (based on VLS) to eliminate the fundamental weaknesses of trad
 itional Lightning deployments.\n\nLightning nodes are inherently hot walle
 ts - they must keep funds online inside channels\, often at significant sc
 ale. This creates a critical attack surface: if a node is compromised\, an
  attacker can either steal private keys or trick the node into signing mal
 icious channel states and draining funds.
